Bringing Tapeball To America

Major League Tapeball is the biggest Commercial platform for the fast, furious, and thrilling sport of Tapeball. The founding members of MLT are committed, united, and determined to make Tapeball the next big sport in America.

Tapeball Game Rules

Pitch: The pitch is defined as a 22-yard long strip between wickets. Lines are painted on the pitch to define each area.
Teams: Each team should have 7 players. Within those players, there must be one bowler, one wicket keeper, and five fielders.
Game: The game begins with a coin toss that will determine the first team to bat or field. Each match consists of one inning per team, which is made up of 10 overs.
Scoring: Runs and hits are scored according to the rules of Tapeball. Team captains have the right to verbally protest the scoring.

Bats

Players are welcome to use any bats in their possession. If possible, it is advised to use a lighter bat.

Balls

The balls used are regular tennis balls. It sure is a twist on the usual heavy ball!

Tape

The tape is a crucial element in the game. A thinner version of standard electrical tape will do just fine.

Wickets

You only need one set of wickets, though you can use two if you’d like.
